Experienced Payroller Location: Brighton Salary: Competitive + Benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Brighton who are looking to appoint an Experienced Payroller to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio and taking ownership of the payroll process within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery. Key responsibilities include: Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors Submitting RTI reports and ensuring HMRC compliance Administering statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP Handling payroll queries from clients and providing clear, professional advice Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring deadlines are met Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and best practice About You Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes Experience managing multiple payrolls and working to tight deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships Confident using payroll software The Firm This is a forward-thinking and supportive firm with an excellent reputation in the local market.
