Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative Job Type: Temporary Location: Shefford Working Hours: Rotational Shifts, Monday to Friday (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm) Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour (increases to £13.45ph after 12 weeks of service)   Our award winning client based in Shefford are currently looking for a highly skilled Production Operative to join their team on a Temporary. The successful candidate must come from a Production/Manufacturing background, who can adapt well to new surroundings, tools, and equipment.   Duties as a Production Operative: - Operating & cleaning the production line including machinery, moulds, and handheld tools. - Inspecting quality of the product ensuring quality standards are met - Reporting any imperfections or issues with production to Supervisor/Shift Manager - Adhering to strict Health & Safety regulations, ensuring all tools and machines are correctly used/operated - Maintaining a clean and tidy work station - Operate Forklift and/or Pallet Truck (if qualified) to move stock too and from the warehouse   What's needed as a Production Operative: - Previous experience working within a Production/Manufacturing environment - Previous experience operating machinery and power tools - Good communication skills, both written & verbal - To be able to work both within and team & individually - Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads - Attention to detail & good time management skills     Perks of working on a Temporary basis: - 24/7 support - Weekly pay - Tax relief on travel - Rewards & discounts   Please apply within
