Part-Time HR Advisor (Fixed-Term Contract) £37,778 pro rata (£26,546 actual salary) Portishead (Hybrid Working) 26 hours per week over 4 days | Fixed term until September 2027 We’re delighted to be partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Part-Time HR Advisor on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys working in a collaborative, values-led environment and wants to make a meaningful impact. The Opportunity This is a varied and hands-on HR Advisor role with a strong focus on employee relations. Working as part of a supportive People team, you’ll partner closely with managers to provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in supporting leaders, improving colleague experience, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities * Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues * Support a wide range of employee relations casework, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment law * Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and wider colleague lifecycle activities (e.g. absence, performance, family leave, flexible working) * Build strong relationships with stakeholders, confidently handling sensitive and complex situations * Contribute to HR projects, initiatives, and training delivery to enhance engagement and development * Support HR reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making * Maintain accurate HR records and support day-to-day HR administration About You * Previous experience in a generalist HR role, including ER casework * Confident advising managers and handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy * Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills * Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively * Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail * Experience working within a shared services or collaborative HR environment is advantageous * CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience What’s on Offer * Salary up to £37,778 pro rata (£26,546 actual) * 25 days holiday (pro rata) * Enhanced pension and healthcare benefits * Wellbeing programme and additional lifestyle benefits * Flexible, hybrid working model with modern office space * A supportive, inclusive culture with a strong focus on employee experience Additional Information * 26 hours per week, worked across 4 days (flexible) * Hybrid working – a mix of home and office based on business needs * Fixed-term contract until 30th September 2027 If you’re looking for a flexible, part-time HR role where you can truly add value and be part of a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you
