Key Responsibilities - Lead a multi-discipline engineering team delivering design and engineering support across several active projects - Serve as the key interface between engineering teams, project delivery teams, and external partners - Manage workload, resource planning, and team capability - Oversee project progress, risks, and overall performance - Ensure technical quality and consistency in all deliverables - Contribute to future business development and participate in shaping upcoming opportunities - Drive continuous improvements in engineering delivery and processes Requirements - Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams on complex projects - Demonstrated capability managing teams across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines - Strong understanding of design delivery across multiple engineering domains - Skilled in managing workload, priorities, and team structures - Confident in stakeholder engagement at various levels - Background in engineering design within infrastructure, energy, or similar sectors - Motivated to take ownership and deliver strategic influence at a senior level - Eager for long-term project stability and pipeline security - Interested in developing teams and enhancing engineering capabilities - Values flexibility, including hybrid working across UK locations Qualifications - Degree in Engineering or related field - Chartered status (or working towards) preferred This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone keen to influence major infrastructure projects and develop high-performing engineering teams.
