Housing Options Officer

We’re looking for dedicated professionals with experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention, or case management to support residents in finding safe, sustainable housing solutions. Role: Housing Options Officer (West Midlands) Contract: [Agency – Full-Time] Salary: [negotiable on experience] Start Date: [20th April - 6 month contract] On site: [2x days per week] Systems: [Jigsaw] Key Responsibilities: * Provide specialist housing advice and support to individuals and families. * Assess homelessness applications under the Housing Act 1996 and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. * Work collaboratively with landlords, support agencies, and partner organisations. What We’re Looking For: * Experience in housing or local authority settings. * Strong knowledge of housing legislation and homelessness prevention. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
