We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading global provider of climatic packaging solutions for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business supplying high-quality barrier foil packaging to industrial customers worldwide. This is a BDM role focused on driving new business, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering consultative, technical sales solutions across the UK, with occasional international travel. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, target, and win new business across industrial and manufacturing sectors * Carry out prospecting activity including cold calling, outreach, and structured follow-ups * Manage and grow a defined UK territory with a strong new business focus * Conduct face-to-face meetings, site visits, and technical discussions with clients * Deliver consultative sales solutions based on customer requirements * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers * Manage the full sales cycle including pricing, negotiation, and commercial agreements * Work towards and consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs * Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events * Maintain accurate CRM records and provide market and competitor insight What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in B2B business development or field sales * Background in industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales (packaging experience advantageous) * Strong track record of generating new business and exceeding targets * Confident in a field-based role with regular travel * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills * Commercially minded, self-motivated, and results-driven * Strong organisational and time management skills * Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally What’s on Offer: * Salary up to £45,000 + bonus and benefits * Opportunity to join a growing, market-leading global business * Field-based autonomy with support from a collaborative sales team * Exposure to international markets and industry events * Clear opportunities for career development and progression To Apply: Contact David or Adam at Greys Specialist Recruitment
