Production Supervisor (Conversion) 📍 Gloucester 💷 £41,520 per annum 🕒 Day Shifts Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with strong leadership skills and a background in conversion processes? We are seeking a Production Supervisor (Conversion) to join a dynamic and growing team in Gloucester. The Role As Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of the conversion production schedule, ensuring efficient operations, optimal machine utilisation, and seamless coordination across departments. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive performance, maintain high safety standards, and support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and adapt the Conversion Production schedule in line with operational demands Define and meet order deadlines in collaboration with planning teams Optimise machine and shop floor capacity based on order volumes Coordinate closely with Extrusion, Maintenance, Logistics, Technical Service, and SEP teams Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery alongside technical teams Oversee equipment maintenance within your area of responsibility Validate departmental working hours and ensure accurate reporting Act as a key communication link across teams and management Participate in recruitment processes and team development Analyse and resolve operational, organisational, and team-related challenges Supervise forklift operations and plan workloads in collaboration with logistics Contribute to risk assessments and maintain a strong safety culture About You NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Relevant technical qualification Strong knowledge of conversion processes Proven experience in product conversion environments Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills What's on Offer Competitive salary of £41,520 Stable day shift pattern Opportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment Career progression and development opportunitiesIf you're ready to take the next step in your manufacturing leadership career, we'd love to hear from you
