Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer – £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (London) We are an established and growing facilities and maintenance company, delivering high-quality services across commercial and private sectors in London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and an expanding client base, we are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled engineer who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, and committed to delivering a first-class service to clients while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. You will be responsible for attending commercial sites to carry out reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and minor installations. Key Responsibilities: Reactive repairs to lighting systems, sockets, fuse boards, and general electrical systems Fault finding and replacement of electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and company procedures Maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service on site Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards Skills & Experience Required: Full UK driving licence (essential) NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential) 18th Edition BS7671 qualification Minimum 8 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Professional, self-motivated, and client-focused attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: Salary £50,000 – £55,000 per annum Career development and structured training plan Access to industry-accredited training courses Company tools and equipment provided Company electric vehicle 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Monday to Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with occasional weekend availability This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career
