Refrigeration Engineer

We are a leading, award‑winning national refrigeration contractor within the foodservice and food retail sector, recognised for long‑term stability and strong technical expertise. Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our engineering team and seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Refrigeration Engineer. In this role, you will work across foodservice, hospitality, and food and drink retail environments, maintaining and repairing a wide range of chilled and frozen display and storage equipment for a diverse portfolio of major clients. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing position suited to an engineer who enjoys variety, problem‑solving, and working with high‑quality commercial systems. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and internal safety standards Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations Maintain accurate records and documentation Participate in an on‑call rota as required Essential Skills & Qualifications Valid and current F‑Gas Certificate (mandatory) Ideally 10+ years' experience in commercial refrigeration, particularly within restaurant and hospitality environments Strong understanding of refrigeration systems used in foodservice and retail settings Professional, reliable, and able to perform effectively during peak seasonal demand Full UK driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary Overtime opportunities Standby allowance 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days Long‑service bonus and access to exclusive discounts If interested please apply below with your CV or call Chelsea on (phone number removed) RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
