Quantity Surveyor – CSA (Civils, Structural & Architectural) Salary: Up to £85,000 + Package Location: UK (Project based) Sector: Major Construction / Data Centre / Commercial Projects A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of Civils, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages on large-scale construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value, technically complex developments within a fast-paced project environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in commercial management, cost control, subcontractor management and change management, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Commercial management of CSA packages from procurement through to final account Preparation and submission of interim valuations and change assessments Assessment and agreement of subcontractor applications and variations Management of change control processes, ensuring variations are captured and submitted in accordance with contractual requirements Support cost forecasting, CVR reporting and internal commercial reporting Align commercial positions with programme progress and site activities Support procurement activities including tender enquiries, bid analysis and negotiations Maintain accurate commercial records, logs and audit trails Work closely with project managers, planners and site teams to ensure effective delivery Requirements Strong experience managing CSA packages on large construction projects Good understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC or FIDIC) Proven ability to manage valuations, variations and subcontractor accounts Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost reporting and forecasting Knowledge of construction sequencing and buildability Confident working with clients, consultants and subcontractors Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel What’s on Offer Salary up to £85,000 Competitive package and benefits Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and data centre projects Long-term project pipeline and career progression
