Mechanical Supervisor – Permanent Role Locations: Edmonton We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our clients, with long-term projects based in Edmonton. You will lead site teams, provide technical support, and act as a key link between operatives, management, and clients. Key Responsibilities * Supervise on-site mechanical works and day-to-day operations * Carry out dynamic risk assessments and identify health & safety hazards * Mechanical fault finding and problem solving * Oversee and support mechanical installations * Plan daily works and allocate appropriate resources * Provide technical guidance to site operatives * Liaise with clients and project managers regarding access and planning * Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate site records/diaries * Ensure all safety procedures are followed and incidents are reported * Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings * Manage stock levels of materials and consumables Requirements * Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification * Strong experience within an on-site mechanical engineering environment * Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred * Good working knowledge of pumps, motors, pipework, and related systems * CSCS card or equivalent * Additional certifications (EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, Abrasive Wheels) beneficial but not essential * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively * Proactive, reliable, and able to perform under pressure
