Pre-School Room Leader – E11 Salary: £13.56 – £16.46 per hour Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a nursery in E11 for a Pre-School Room Leader to join their team. In this role, you will lead a newly opened pre-toddler room (12–24 months), creating and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop activities for children aged 12–24 months * Ensure a safe, secure, and home-like environment * Support staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage framework * Monitor children’s progress and contribute to curriculum enhancement * Maintain accurate room paperwork and records * Model best practice and lead through positive example Requirements * Full Level 3 childcare qualification or above * Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children under 2 years old * Knowledge of safeguarding practices * Flexible, creative, and committed to providing excellent childcare * Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills * Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1 (preferred) Benefits * Supportive, inclusive, and professional working environment * Opportunities for professional development and career growth This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Room Leader to make a real difference in a nurturing nursery setting
