A leading ground engineering consultancy in Warrington that is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support their growing project portfolio across infrastructure, residential, and environmental sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role in both design and project delivery, while mentoring junior staff and progressing towards Principal level. The Role As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering technically robust and commercially focused solutions across a range of projects. Your responsibilities will include: Leading ground investigations and supervising site works Interpreting geotechnical data and producing factual & interpretative reports Undertaking geotechnical design (foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, earthworks) Managing projects from tender through to delivery Liaising with clients and providing technical advice Mentoring and supporting junior engineersSenior roles typically involve project ownership and client interaction alongside technical delivery Requirements Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar Typically 5+ years' experience in a consultancy or contractor environment Strong experience in geotechnical design and reporting Experience managing projects and client relationships Working towards or holding Chartered status (ICE/GeolSoc) Full UK driving licence What's on Offer Competitive salary (£40k-£60k+ depending on experience) Hybrid/flexible working options Clear progression to Principal/Associate level Chartership support and professional development Opportunity to work on major UK infrastructure and development projects Why Apply?
