Inside Sales Executive (Internal Sales) Luton Up to £40,000 Basic + Bonus/Commission + Benefits The Role We’re hiring a commercially driven Inside Sales Executive to grow a leading cable brand across contractors, specifiers, and project accounts in the UK and export markets. This is a fast-paced role combining business development, account management, and project tracking, focused on delivering profitable growth. Key Responsibilities * Develop new contractor and project-based accounts * Grow revenue and margin within existing customers * Increase spend across Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors * Convert enquiries into profitable sales * Support BDMs with quotes and pipeline management * Track projects from pre-tender to completion * Deliver against sales targets and KPIs * Provide fast, accurate quotations * Build relationships with buyers, estimators, and project managers * Advise on cable selection and CPR compliance * Resolve customer queries professionally * Manage pricing and negotiate within agreed frameworks * Maintain CRM, forecasts, and pipeline accuracy * Monitor competitor activity and market trends * Work closely with operations, purchasing, and logistics * Promote LV power, control, and fire performance cables * Identify cross-selling opportunities * Support marketing campaigns and trade events Skills & Experience * Internal sales experience within electrical or cable distribution * Knowledge of contractor-led, project-based sales * Understanding of LV cables and CPR regulations * Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills * Excellent communication and relationship-building ability * CRM experience and strong organisational skills What You’ll Get * Salary up to £40,000 + bonus/commission * Excellent benefits package * Career progression in a growing business * Supportive, team-focused environment Start People Ltd are acting as an employment agency in relation to this role
