Job Title: SEND Teacher Area: Harrogate, North Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Rate: GBP140 - GBP220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm About the School: Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are working in partnership with a fantastic specialist primary school in Harrogate, supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including autism and physical or sensory impairments. This welcoming and well-resourced school is set within the beautiful surroundings of Harrogate and is committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. As a SEND Teacher, you will become part of a supportive and experienced team focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred education tailored to individual needs. As a SEND Teacher, you will: · Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to primary-aged pupils. · Plan and differentiate engaging lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones. · Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and holistic approach. · Support the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. What Were Looking For: · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. · Experience within an SEN setting or strong SEN knowledge in mainstream education. · A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management. · A genuine passion for inclusive education. · Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs. To be eligible, you must: · Have the Right to Work in the UK. · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service, or be willing to obtain one. · Provide two professional child-related references.
