Estate Management Surveyor

Estate Management Surveyor / Senior Commercial Surveyor – North London Council £491.45 per day Umbrella 36 hours per week Temporary Contract Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Surveyor / Estate Management Surveyor on behalf of a North London based Council. The successful candidate will manage a varied commercial property portfolio, delivering asset management initiatives, acquisitions, disposals and regeneration opportunities to maximise value and support the Council’s wider objectives. Responsibilities Manage the Council’s commercial property portfolio to maximise value and income Lead on lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gears, acquisitions and disposals Identify and deliver asset management and regeneration opportunities Prepare business cases, reports and recommendations for senior officers and Members Support property strategy and wider placemaking initiatives Procure and manage consultants, agents, solicitors and surveyors Undertake financial appraisals, disposal strategies and development feasibility work Represent the Council in negotiations and stakeholder meetings Advise on commercial leases, land transactions and property contracts Support and guide junior surveyors within the wider property teamRequirements Degree qualified in a property related discipline MRICS qualified or equivalent Strong background in commercial property, asset management and estates work Experience of lettings, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals and lease negotiations Ability to prepare business cases and present to senior stakeholders and Members Strong understanding of local government and public sector property issues Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Previous experience within a local authority environment is highly desirableIf you're looking for work but this role isn’t for you, please feel free to get in touch with what you're looking for.
