Senior Contract Manager Location: Evesham, Worcestershire (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in Head Office) Salary: Up to £61,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 We’re seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join a forward-thinking housing organisation, reporting into the Executive Director. This is a key strategic role responsible for overseeing the delivery, performance, and commercial management of major repairs and maintenance contracts across the organisation. The role offers a blend of office-based work, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of operational delivery across Worcestershire and surrounding areas. The Role As a Senior Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end management of repairs, maintenance, and specialist works contracts, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard, are compliant, cost-effective, and provide excellent outcomes for residents. You will play a pivotal role in managing contractor performance, driving value for money, and embedding a consistent contract management framework across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee repairs, maintenance, and specialist works contracts from procurement through to delivery and completion * Manage contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement * Lead regular performance and review meetings with contractors * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and contract obligations * Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and ensure effective cost control and value for money * Analyse and validate performance data across internal and contractor systems * Manage contract variations, disputes, and commercial negotiations * Implement quality assurance processes, including post-inspections and audits * Act as the key point of contact for internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders * Support procurement activities, contract mobilisation, and future contract strategies * Contribute to the development and implementation of a contract management framework across property services About You * Degree or professional qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Facilities Management, or a related field * Proven experience managing large-scale repairs and maintenance contracts * Strong understanding of contract law, compliance, building regulations, and health & safety * Experience managing contractor performance, KPIs, and SLAs within a housing or main contractor environment * Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills Desirable: * Experience within social housing or main contractor environments * Professional membership (e.g. RICS, CIOB) * Project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM) * Experience with housing management systems and Schedule of Rates (SoR) Benefits * Hybrid working arrangements * Holiday buying/selling scheme and paid leave for birthdays/annual celebrations * 2 days paid leave to support house moves after probation * Life assurance and health cash plan covering dental, physiotherapy, consultations, and 24-hour helpline * Company contribution to wellbeing, mindfulness, and fitness programmes * Online retail, supermarket, cinema, insurance, and holiday discounts * Funded training and sponsored professional qualifications * 2 days paid volunteering leave per year Senior Contract Manager – Contracts Manager – Commercial Manager – Repairs & Maintenance – Housing – Asset Management – Compliance – Social Housing – KPI Management – Contractor Management – Worcestershire / Evesham
