About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex and profound needs. Many students require tailored communication approaches and benefit from sensory-based learning strategies. You will support pupils with: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Sensory impairments, including visual and hearing needs Non-verbal communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, AAC, and sensory cuesWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and care staff, you will help pupils engage with learning through structured routines, sensory experiences, and personalised support- ensuring every child feels safe, understood, and valued. Key Details: Location: Cheltenham Pay: £90- £100 per day (Depending on Experience) Full-time (8:30am- 3:15pm) Start: ASAP Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)About You: Experience supporting PMLD, SLD, or complex needs (education, care, or health settings) Calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach Confident supporting personal care and physical needs Strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education Relevant SEN experience or qualifications (desirable but not essential)This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference in a child's life while working within a supportive and dedicated team.
