Building Physics Consultant Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 2 days in office) Competitive Salary + Benefits We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking Building Services Design Consultancy looking to appoint a Building Physics Consultant to support their expanding sustainability and building performance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for building performance and energy modelling to work on a diverse range of projects, delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions. The Role As a Building Physics Consultant, you will: Deliver building performance analysis across a range of projects Support the design team with energy-efficient and sustainable solutions Carry out modelling and simulation to inform design decisions Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers Assist in the delivery of compliance and sustainability strategies Contribute to project reports and technical documentationTechnical Responsibilities Dynamic simulation modelling using IES VE Part L compliance (SBEM) and EPC production Overheating assessments (TM52 / TM59 / Part O) Operational energy modelling (TM54) Daylight and thermal comfort analysis Support with low and zero carbon strategiesAbout You Degree in Building Physics, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or similar Experience in a building physics or sustainability role Proficiency with IES VE (essential) Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Able to attend the Milton Keynes office 2 days per weekWhat’s on Offer Hybrid working (2 days in Milton Keynes office) Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects Clear career progression within a growing consultancy Ongoing training and professional developmentIf you are interested in this Building Physics position, please email Callum via (url removed)
