Roofing Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager – Industrial Roofing Location: Southampton Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + bonus Type: Full-time Overview We are currently working with an established industrial roofing contractor seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the Southampton region (within a 2-hour travel radius). This role combines office and site-based responsibilities and is ideal for an experienced Contracts Manager or someone looking to step up from Assistant, Site Manager, or Supervisor level. Key Responsibilities * Manage contracts from setup through to completion * Plan and schedule labour, materials, and resources * Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RAMS * Monitor budgets, costs, and project performance * Handle variations, valuations, and invoicing * Coordinate procurement of materials and subcontractors * Ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications * Enforce Health & Safety regulations, including CDM 2015 * Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews * Act as main point of contact for clients and stakeholders * Lead and support site teams and subcontractors * Provide regular project updates to senior management Requirements * Experience in industrial roofing, cladding, or building envelope projects * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Knowledge of metal roofing systems (single-ply, liquid systems) * Strong understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations * Relevant certifications (CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS preferred) * Good organisational, leadership, and communication skills * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Package * £50,000 – £70,000 salary (DOE) + bonus * Company vehicle and mobile phone * 25 days holiday + bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown) * Free on-site parking Additional Information Applicants should be able to commute to or relocate to Southampton.
