Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician Location: Livingston Salary: £31,991 + £7,997 shift allowance (Total £39,989) Hours: 37 per week (shift rotation) We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a leading manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant equipment and ensuring maximum uptime across operations. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance * Diagnose faults and repair plant equipment including presses, furnaces, and machinery * Perform electrical installations, inspections, and testing * Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics * Support continuous improvement and predictive maintenance activities * Ensure high standards of health, safety, and compliance Requirements: * Time-served Electrician (City & Guilds / Level 3 / HNC or equivalent) * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience in industrial electrical maintenance environments * Knowledge of medium voltage systems and maintenance programmes * Ability to read technical drawings and use test equipment * Flexible approach and ability to work shifts Desirable: * Experience in heavy manufacturing or production environments Apply now or get in touch to find out more
