Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a driven and customer-focused Customer Parts Advisor for a Glasgow-based client. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, managing stock, and delivering exceptional service, while playing a key role in driving sales growth. If you enjoy being out in the field, engaging with customers, and making a tangible impact, this role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and progression. This is a field-based position covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas, with regular travel required. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime depending on business needs. The Role * Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. * Respond to customer enquiries efficiently, delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations. * Drive sales growth by engaging with customers, identifying needs, and confidently upselling relevant products. * Proactively target new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term customer partnerships while consistently achieving sales targets. * Deliver parts to customers and engineers, ensuring timely and accurate distribution. * Take ownership of stock management, ensuring engineer vans and storage units are fully stocked, organised, and ready for use. * Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and inventory to support effective business operations. The Ideal Candidate Will Have * Experience within the plant, construction, or agricultural sectors, ideally in a parts sales or distribution role. * A self-motivated and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule. * A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges. * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust. * Confidence in upselling, identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets. * Excellent problem-solving and complaint-handling abilities. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to interpret sales data.
