Team Manager Renters Rights

We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead the implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2025 across a busy local authority. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the Council is fully compliant with new legislation while delivering a coordinated, tenant-focused approach across all services. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Regulatory Services, you will oversee both the strategic planning and day-to-day delivery of the programme, working closely with Housing, Finance, Data and Communications to ensure a smooth and effective rollout. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the council-wide implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2025 Develop and manage delivery plans to meet statutory requirements and key milestones Provide strategic oversight while supporting operational teams with practical implementation Work collaboratively with internal services to ensure a joined-up and compliant approach Support governance arrangements, reporting, and programme updates to senior leadership Ensure clear communication and engagement with tenants, landlords and key stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity to play a central role in shaping how new national legislation is embedded at a local level, influencing policy, service delivery and resident outcomes
