Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer Liverpool Competitive Salary + Benefits We’re working with a multi award-winning, nationwide Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy that is continuing to grow its presence across the UK. Due to an increasing pipeline of residential projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join their established Liverpool team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of projects, work with major housebuilders and developers, and play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure design. The Role As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will: Lead the design and delivery of residential infrastructure projects Produce detailed designs for roads and drainage in line with current standards Manage projects from concept through to construction Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders Support and mentor junior engineers within the team Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussionsTechnical Requirements You will have strong experience using industry-standard software, including: PDS / Site 3D for highway design MicroDrainage / Flow for drainage design Residential housing developments (5+ years) Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements Flood risk assessments and drainage strategies Earthworks and levels design SuDS and sustainable drainage principlesAbout You Minimum 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering (residential focus) Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar Working towards (or achieved) Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE or similar) Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a highly respected, award-winning consultancy Clear progression pathway into senior leadership roles Exposure to a wide range of residential projects nationwide Support towards professional development and chartershipIf you're a Senior Civil Engineer looking for your next challenge in Liverpool, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy where your work will have real impact.
