IT Support Engineer (2nd Line / Projects) Location: Essex (Hybrid – Office, Remote & Client Sites) Salary: £33,000 + mileage, training & progression About LB Tech Solutions We’re a growing Managed Service Provider based in Essex, supporting businesses across the UK with proactive, reliable IT services. We’re a small, close knit team where everyone has real ownership of their work. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line / Projects) who wants to develop their skills, get hands-on with projects, and progress into 3rd line over time. The Role This is a true 2nd line position with a mix of service desk and project work. * Handling escalated support tickets across multiple client environments * Supporting Microsoft 365 environments (core focus) * Working on project-based tasks alongside the wider team * Occasional client site visits * Collaborating with senior engineers on more complex issues This role offers strong exposure to 3rd line work, not just repetitive support. What We’re Looking For Must Have: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT support * Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience * Confident troubleshooting skills * Good organisation and communication Nice to Have: * MSP experience * Client facing experience * Intune / Endpoint Manager * Azure * Networking fundamentals What You’ll Get * Salary of £33,000 * Hybrid working (home, office & client sites) * Mileage paid for all client visits * All equipment provided * Ongoing training, certifications and support * Clear progression towards 3rd line / project work * Real ownership within a small, growing team Why Join LB Tech?
