Non Working Site Supervisor

Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor (Non-Working) Location: Private Residential Apartment Block Pay Rate: £24–£30 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Full-time / Contract About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Non-Working Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical works within a private residential apartment block. This role is primarily supervisory, with a focus on coordinating and managing subcontractors across key mechanical disciplines. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site * Oversee installation and commissioning of: * Pipefitting systems * Ductwork installations * Smoke ventilation systems * Ensure all works are carried out to specification, on time, and within budget * Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance * Liaise with project managers, site teams, and residents where required * Monitor progress and report on project milestones * Ensure quality control and adherence to regulations and standards Requirements: * Proven experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role (non-working preferred) * Strong background in pipefitting, ductwork, and smoke ventilation systems * Experience managing and organising subcontractors * Good understanding of health & safety regulations * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Desirable: * Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications * SMSTS or SSSTS certification * Experience working in residential/apartment block environments What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rate (£24–£30) * Stable, ongoing work opportunity * Professional and supportive working environment
