ANZUK Education is working with a high-performing Secondary School in West London seeking an Attendance Officer to join their team ASAP Job Title: Attendance Officer Location: West London Pay Range: £32,215 – £34,211 FTE (Pro rata £28,172 – £29,918) - £17 per hour PAYE Contract Type: Full Time – Term Time + INSET Days – Temp to perm Working Pattern: Full Time, On-site ANZUK Education is working with a well-regarded Secondary School in West London seeking an Attendance Officer to join their team ASAP. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting student engagement and improving attendance across the school. This Attendance Officer role would suit someone with experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly in attendance, pastoral or safeguarding roles. You will join a supportive and driven team and play a vital role in ensuring students are fully engaged in their education. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality across the school • Work closely with students, families and staff to improve attendance • Identify trends and implement targeted interventions • Conduct home visits where necessary to support families • Liaise with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral teams • Work with external agencies and the local authority where required • Produce attendance reports and analyse data to inform strategy • Support the development and implementation of attendance policies The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have experience working in a school or education setting (essential) • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills • Be confident working with families and external professionals • Have experience analysing data and implementing interventions • Be highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively • Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply) What the school offers: A supportive and collaborative staff team Strong focus on professional development and CPD A positive and inclusive school culture Access to wellbeing support, including an Employee Assistance Programme and virtual GP Additional benefits including cycle schemes and season ticket loans Benefits of working with ANZUK Education: Ready2Work app – Control your availability, bookings and schedule — all from one place Crystal-clear pay - No surprises.
