Mechanical Design Engineer – Hydraulics / Heavy Machinery *Relocation (UK) required for the role; please enquire* We are working with a well-established engineering manufacturer specialising in highly specialised, heavy-duty equipment used in demanding environments. Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in hydraulic systems and mobile or industrial machinery. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit engineering team working on complex, bespoke products where reliability and performance are critical. The Role You will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems, with a particular focus on hydraulics and associated components. The role will involve working across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production. Key responsibilities include: * Designing hydraulic systems and mechanical assemblies for heavy-duty equipment * Producing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings * Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation * Collaborating with manufacturing and production teams * Ensuring designs meet relevant industry and safety standards * Contributing to continuous improvement and product development initiatives About You We are looking for engineers with a strong practical understanding of machinery used in demanding environments.
