Maintenance Technician (Biogas / Process Plant) 📍 Northern Gloucestershire 💰 c£45,000 🕒 Monday – Friday (Days) + call out We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established business within the renewable energy sector, supporting a biogas facility in the North Gloucestershire area. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical or electrical background who enjoys a hands-on role in a varied environment. You’ll be working as part of a small team, getting involved in a wide range of maintenance activities across plant equipment and site infrastructure. Training will be provided on the process, but prior hands-on engineering or maintenance experience is essential. Role * Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment and site machinery * Carrying out planned maintenance and routine servicing * Assisting with fault finding and breakdown response * Supporting repairs, installations, and general site improvements * Working on a variety of equipment including pumps, processing plant, and site services * Recording work carried out using a maintenance system * Assisting with stock control and basic parts management * Liaising with contractors and supporting works on site * Working across different areas of the site in a hands-on capacity * Following health & safety procedures at all times About You * Mechanical or Electrical background (NVQ / City & Guilds or similar, or time-served) * Hands-on maintenance or engineering experience * Comfortable working in an outdoor / processing environment * Strong work ethic and team player * Keen to learn and get involved in a varied role * Able to commit to a call out rota * Able to commute to the Chipping Campden area What’s on Offer * Full training and development provided * Monday–Friday working pattern * Pension & holiday package * Long-term stability within a growing sector * Opportunity to work in a varied, hands-on environment
