Freelance Project Manager – Industrial Build 📍 Location: Birmingham 📅 Start: ASAP 💰 Rate: Competitive day rate 🏗️ Sector: Industrial / Logistics We are looking to appoint an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new build industrial unit in Birmingham for a well-established main contractor. This is a client-facing role, requiring a strong communicator who can take ownership of the project and drive it forward through design coordination and construction delivery. Key Responsibilities * Acting as the main point of contact for the client and professional team * Managing design coordination and ensuring information flow to site teams * Driving the programme and project milestones * Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams * Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety standards * Chairing progress and design meetings with consultants and stakeholders * Ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget Requirements * Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor * Experience delivering industrial / logistics / commercial build projects * Strong understanding of programme management, design coordination and subcontractor management * Confident client-facing communication skills * Ability to start immediately This is an excellent opportunity to join a live industrial scheme with a strong contractor, taking a lead role in delivering the project through to completion. 📩 If you’re available or know someone suitable, please get in touch with Heather Duncan in the Birmingham office
