Plumbing Lecturer

Job Title: Lecturer - Plumbing Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 Overview Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to Plumbing students, supporting their progress, achievement and development in a safe and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Assessment Deliver structured lessons in line with curriculum requirements Plan sessions, prepare resources and assess learner work Monitor attendance, progress and achievement Provide clear feedback to support development Embed English, maths and employability skillsCurriculum Delivery Support development of up-to-date, industry-relevant curriculum Maintain current knowledge of trade practices Engage with employers to support learner opportunitiesLearner Support Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive behaviour Create a safe and inclusive learning environment Support learners with additional needs where requiredAdditional Duties Support recruitment activities (open days/interviews) Participate in CPD and quality processes Maintain accurate records and follow policies Work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders Requirements Level 3 Plumbing qualification (minimum) Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards) Relevant industry experience Good communication and organisational skills Understanding of safeguarding and learner support Important Notice Dovetail and Slate is a specialist education recruitment company.
