Estimator - Civil / Structural Engineering

Job Title: Estimator (Civil / Structural Engineering) Location: Bromsgrove (Office-Based) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Company We are an established and growing civil and structural engineering building services company based in Bromsgrove. Working across a wide range of commercial and infrastructure projects, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our clients. The Role We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil and structural engineering projects, supporting the business in securing new work. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for civil and structural projects * Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations * Conduct site visits where required to assess project scope * Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options * Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership during bid processes * Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools * Ensure all tenders are submitted on time and to a high standard Requirements * Proven experience as an Estimator within civil and/or structural engineering * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications * Excellent numerical and analytical skills * Strong communication and negotiation abilities * Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office * Full UK driving licence preferred What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects * Career progression within a growing company * Supportive and professional working environment
