Powered Access Engineer Uxbridge £45,000 – £50,000 + Overtime + Benefits We’re working with a well-established, highly respected plant hire business looking to bring in an experienced Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join their depot in West London. This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of powered access equipment — perfect for someone who knows their way around MEWPs and wants to be part of a busy, well-run depot. The Role Carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment Working on a range of kit including scissor lifts, boom lifts and cherry pickers Diagnosing faults across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to a high standard Ensuring all equipment is compliant and ready for hire Working closely with the hire desk and depot team to keep operations running smoothly The Candidate Proven experience working on powered access equipment (MEWPs) Strong fault-finding ability across hydraulics, electrics and engines Ideally holds a CAP qualification (or working towards) Background in plant hire, powered access or similar environments Ability to work independently in a workshop environment Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer £45,000 – £50,000 basic salary Overtime available Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-known name in plant hire Strong support network and well-equipped workshop Opportunity to develop further within the business
