Building Surveyor – Suffolk/Cambridge Border £40,000 – £50,000 + Benefits Conrad Consulting is working with a highly respected multidisciplinary practice that is looking to expand its team with the addition of an experienced Building Surveyor. The Role You’ll be based out of their office on the Suffolk/Cambridge border, supporting a variety of projects and clients. The position offers a healthy blend of professional and project-based surveying, giving you the chance to develop your technical expertise while contributing to meaningful, long‑term work. Key Responsibilities Undertaking condition surveys, defect analysis, and technical reporting Managing refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement projects Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and contract administration Providing professional advice to clients and stakeholders Supporting senior colleagues and contributing to team development About You Ideally chartered (MRICS) or working towards chartership Strong technical knowledge and a proactive approach Excellent communication and client‑facing skills Ability to manage your own workload and work collaboratively within a team What’s on Offer Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience A comprehensive benefits package Ongoing professional development and APC support A supportive, friendly working environment with genuine progression opportunities
