Drainage Engineer

Job Title Drainage Engineer Salary: £35,000-£60,000 Location London and surrounding areas Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drainage Engineer to join my clients growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across residential and commercial sites. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities * Unblocking sinks, toilets, and external drainage systems * Carrying out high-pressure water jetting and drain cleaning * Conducting CCTV drain surveys and fault diagnosis * Performing drain repairs and minor excavation works * Identifying and resolving drainage issues efficiently * Providing excellent customer service while on-site * Completing job reports and documentation accurately * Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations Requirements * Previous experience in drainage engineering or a similar role * Ability to carry out CCTV surveys and high-pressure jetting * Full UK driving licence * Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills * Good communication and customer service abilities * Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Skills * Experience with excavation and groundworks * Knowledge of drainage systems, plumbing, and utilities * Relevant certifications or training in drainage engineering * Familiarity with industry tools and equipment What We Offer * Competitive salary with strong earning potential * Regular, consistent work across London * Company van and equipment (subject to contract) * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for training, development, and career progression
