Bookkeeper

Your new company A well‑established accountancy practice with a strong reputation for supporting a varied client base, particularly sole traders and small businesses. Your new role As a Bookkeeper, you'll support clients across bookkeeping, VAT and general accounting tasks, with a particular focus on sole traders (alongside some partnerships and limited companies). Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts Inputting data accurately into Xero Preparing and submitting VAT returns Identifying and recording inconsistencies to support accountants with reconciliations Providing occasional support to Client Managers during year‑end accounts preparationFull training will be provided where needed, particularly on Xero.
