Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist - NHS experience required Location: Brighton Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 (37.5 hours per week) Role Overview: * This role involves working with post-operative surgical patients across neurosurgery and general surgery wards, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy treatment for post-operative patients * Manage caseloads within neurosurgery and general surgery settings * Provide respiratory assessment and treatment, ensuring safe and effective care * Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team * Support discharge planning and rehabilitation goals Essential Requirements: * HCPC registered Physiotherapist * Experience at Band 6 level (or equivalent) * Proven experience in surgical and/or neurosurgical physiotherapy * Strong respiratory assessment and treatment skills (essential) * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Desirable: * Previous NHS experience * Experience working in acute hospital settings Why Apply? * Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute setting * Gain valuable experience in neurosurgical and general surgical care * Supportive multidisciplinary environment
