Class 2 Refuse Driver

Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced driver who is comfortable with early starts, physical work, and working as part of a crew to deliver essential waste and recycling services. Key Responsibilities * Operate Class 2 refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently * Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance * Work alongside loaders to complete refuse and recycling collections * Follow planned routes and collection schedules * Adhere to all health & safety procedures and road traffic regulations * Report vehicle defects, missed collections, or incidents promptly * Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with members of the public Requirements * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Previous experience in refuse or waste collection is preferred * Good understanding of health & safety and safe manual handling * Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions * Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Hours of Work * Monday to Friday * 4:00am start * 45+ hours per week Pay & Benefits * £14.70 per hour * Bonus scheme available once permanent * Ongoing work with potential for a permanent position INDWOR
