Assistant Aftersales Manager – Guildford Salary: £43,000 – £49,000 + Company Car Location: Guildford Hours: Full-time, including Saturdays (rota) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Aftersales Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy aftersales department in Guildford. This role will involve overseeing the service and parts operation, driving performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the Aftersales Manager in running the service and parts departments * Managing and motivating the Service Advisor and Workshop teams * Driving departmental performance, productivity, and profitability * Monitoring KPIs including labour sales, efficiency, and CSI scores * Handling customer escalations and ensuring issues are resolved professionally * Ensuring smooth workshop loading and effective job allocation * Supporting training and development of the aftersales team * Maintaining high standards of compliance and dealership processes Requirements * Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or Assistant Aftersales Manager * Strong leadership and team management skills * Proven ability to drive performance and hit targets * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Good understanding of aftersales operations and KPIs * Full UK driving licence Desirable * Main dealer background * Experience with Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar DMS * Strong commercial awareness Benefits * Salary up to £49,000 * Company car or car allowance * Bonus potential (if applicable) * Pension scheme * Career progression opportunities
