Retail Security Officer

Retail Security Guard Location: Mobile (across multiple sites) Salary: £32,385.08 per year Working Hours & Locations: * Monday: Kilburn (NW6 7JR) – 6:15am to 5:45pm * Tuesday & Wednesday: Willesden (NW10 2JJ) – 6:30am to 5:30pm * Saturday: Tottenham (N15 3QR) – 6:45am to 4:15pm Additional Day: * You will work either Thursday or Friday (one of these days is your additional working day, the other will be your day off). About The Role: As the Retail Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, customers, and staff. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of situations calmly and efficiently. Benefits: * Perkbox – 24/7 discounts, wellbeing support, online GP access & more * Company Pension Scheme * Group Life Assurance (up to 3x salary, subject to service) * Staff Discount on all products * Cycle to Work Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * Long Service Awards * 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off Responsibilities: * Liaise with the Store Manager on all matters relating to theft, security, and incidents. * Monitor customer behaviour, check receipts, and carry out searches where appropriate. * Patrol all areas of the premises, including showroom, storeroom, basement, blind spots, yard, and alleyway. * Conduct random spot checks and monitor company vehicle delivery tickets. * Log all incidents and review them weekly with the Store Manager. * Secure the premises at close of day, leaving with the last staff member, and monitor external activity (including traffic wardens and customer vehicles). Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role is essential * SIA License * Honesty and integrity * Good observational skills * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * The ability to handle sensitive situations and to use initiative to make quick decisions
