Thrive personnel are currently looking to recruit an experienced Furniture Sprayer for our clients late shift, working a 4 day week Monday to Thursday 3.30pm - 1.30am. Responsibilities: * Prepare furniture surfaces for finishing, including sanding, filling, and cleaning. * Mix paints and coatings to specified viscosities. * Apply primers, sealers, stains, and topcoats using spray guns and other equipment. * Monitor paint flow, pressure, and application techniques to ensure consistent coverage and finish quality. * Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, drips, or blemishes, and rework as necessary. * Maintain and clean spray equipment, including guns, hoses, and booths. * Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Complete production paperwork and records accurately. * Work independently and efficiently during the late shift hours. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a paint sprayer, preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment. * Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects. * High school diploma or equivalent. Working Conditions: * Manufacturing environment with exposure to paint fumes and dust. * Late shift hours, typically from [insert start time] to [insert end time]. * Requires standing for extended periods and repetitive movements. * Must wear appropriate PPE, including respirators and eye protection
