We are currently supporting a large, complex operational organisation that is going through a significant transformation programme and investing heavily in its Health & Safety function. As part of this investment, they are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Co-Ordinator on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is strengthening its safety culture and building out its H&S team, with further H&S hires planned. The Role The Health & Safety Co-Ordinator will support day-to-day safety operations across a multi-service environment, helping to ensure strong compliance, proactive risk management, and a positive safety culture. Key Responsibilities * Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards * Support the organisation in maintaining compliance with health and safety legislation * Prepare and maintain risk assessments, incident reports, and safety documentation * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and preventative actions * Deliver safety inductions and training where required * Promote and support a positive health and safety culture across operational teams About You * Experience working in a Health & Safety role within an operational environment * Confident conducting risk assessments and site inspections * Good knowledge of UK health & safety legislation * Strong communication skills and the ability to influence safety behaviours * Relevant H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent preferred) Package * £350 per day * Initial 6-month contract * Strong potential for extension as the H&S team continues to grow If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion
