M&E Manager

About the Role We are seeking an experienced M&E Manager with a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) to oversee mechanical and electrical works across our projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all M&E installations meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance. You will play a key role in managing contractors, driving QA processes, and ensuring that all works are delivered in line with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site * Implement and maintain robust Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures * Review and approve M&E design documentation, drawings, and specifications * Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with standards and regulations * Ensure all installations meet relevant codes (e.g. BS, ISO, project-specific standards) * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors * Identify and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and defects * Lead commissioning, snagging, and handover processes * Maintain accurate QA documentation, reports, and records * Support continuous improvement initiatives across projects Requirements Essential: * Proven experience as an M&E Manager / Engineer / Supervisor * Strong background in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within construction or engineering * Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems * Experience with QA processes, inspections, and compliance frameworks * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Desirable: * Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering * Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIBSE, IET) * Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001) * Experience in commissioning and handover processes * SMSTS / CSCS or equivalent certifications Key Skills * Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Leadership and team coordination * Excellent organisational and reporting skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines To Apply Please send up to date CV to apply for the M&E manager position
