HSEQ Co-ordinator / Manager (Part-Time, Flexible Hours) Shape safety, sustainability, and quality in a purpose-driven environmental business Are you an experienced HSEQ professional looking for a role where your expertise truly makes an impact? We’re a specialist environmental engineering business delivering innovative wetland treatment solutions across the UK. Our work supports critical infrastructure—from water companies and airports to industrial and waste management sites—helping manage wastewater, stormwater, and environmental compliance through nature-based solutions. With a close-knit team of around 30 people, we design, build, refurbish, and maintain reedbed systems, combining practical engineering with environmental stewardship. Now, we’re looking for a proactive HSEQ Co-ordinator / Manager to take ownership of our health, safety, environmental, and quality systems. The Role This is a flexible, part-time opportunity (25–30 hours per week) where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our integrated management systems while supporting business growth. You will: * Oversee and continuously improve HSEQ management systems * Lead internal and external audits, identifying gaps and driving improvements * Support Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and tender submissions * Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate data capture and compliance * Promote a strong safety and quality culture across office, workshop, and site environments * Support future progression towards ISO H&S certification About You You’re a confident and knowledgeable HSEQ professional who enjoys working across varied environments and engaging with teams at all levels. Essential requirements: * Strong understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 (and H&S management systems) * Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HSEQ role * NEBOSH (General or Construction) * Degree-level qualification * Membership of IEMA or equivalent professional body * Proven experience in internal auditing and implementing ISO standards * Experience across both construction/site and office environments * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites What We Offer * Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle * Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing, environmentally focused business * Salary sacrifice pension scheme * Private healthcare (after 1 year of service)
