Warehouse Operative  Contract Type: Temporary – Contract until the end of this year, with potential for extension and possible permanent employment  Pay: £13.49 per hour  Reporting to: Warehouse Team Lead  Closing Date: Ongoing  Working Hours  Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15  Friday: 07:30 – 15:00  Breaks:  2 × 15-minute paid breaks per shift  1 × 30-minute unpaid break per shift   Flexibility required to support additional hours during the week and at weekends when needed.    Job Description  We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to support operations within the CMB Stores down in the Fawley area. This role is initially on a temporary ongoing basis until the end of the year. There is potential for extension and possible permanent employment.    Main Responsibilities  Work safely in full compliance with site Health & Safety requirements  Take responsibility for own safety and the safety of others  Pick materials for issue to site  Store materials in racking and shelving locations  Load and unload materials using a forklift truck  Monitor the warehouse service counter  Receive and receipt goods deliveries  Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (SAP) and spreadsheets  Dispatch materials as required  Respond to ad hoc tasks and requests from management   Skills & Experience Required  Applicants should be able to demonstrate:  Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail  IT literacy (training provided where appropriate)  Forklift truck experience (training provided where appropriate)  Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team  UK Driving Licence ideal with access to own transport due to location of site  To apply for this role, please apply or call Paul in our Southampton office today
