What You’ll Be Doing as the Mechanical Technician * Assemble, build, repair and modify engines and components to exact specifications. * Carry out mechanical builds, testing and inspections in line with company standards. * Support continuous improvement by suggesting process and cost-saving improvements. * Work collaboratively with workshop teams, quality, sales, and R&D staff. * Maintain accurate job records and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. * Keep your workspace organised, safe, and compliant with company health & safety policies. What they’re Looking For in the Mechanical Technician. * Completed Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering (or equivalent qualification). * Previous experience in a production or workshop environment. * Practical knowledge of 2 and 4-stroke engines (petrol & diesel). * Familiarity with marine engines is beneficial (training provided). * Good understanding of health & safety regulations. * IT literacy for recording test data and job tracking. * Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
