Mechanical Foreman

Job Title: Mechanical Foreman Location: Bellshill, North Lanarkshire About the Role Our client, a well-established and respected building services contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to join their team on projects based in and around Bellshill. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in mechanical building services to oversee site teams and ensure high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation teams on-site. * Ensure all mechanical works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project programmes. * Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. * Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure installations meet required standards. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery. * Organise labour, materials, and plant to ensure works are completed on schedule. * Provide guidance, supervision, and support to mechanical operatives and apprentices. * Attend site meetings and report on progress, issues, and resource requirements. * Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and risk assessments are completed and maintained. Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman, Mechanical Supervisor, or Senior Mechanical Engineer within the construction or building services sector. * Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC, pipework, and plant installation. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. * Valid CSCS card (Supervisor or Manager level preferred). * SSSTS or SMSTS certification desirable. * First Aid at Work qualification preferred.
