Role – Mechanical assembly engineer Location – Thetford, Norfolk Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time hours Salary - £30,000 per annum Capacity of role – Permanent position This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being involved in both assembly and testing processes. Main duties will include – Carry out mechanical assembly and product testing to meet agreed production schedules. Assist with design and development projects, including prototype builds and testing. Identify and report product or material issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate production and quality documentation in line with company procedures. Follow all Health, Safety and Welfare guidelines, ensuring safe working practices at all times. Experience / Qualifications Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience). Proven experience in mechanical assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment. Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines. Practical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
