Quality Inspector

Owen Daniels are currently supporting an established manufacturing business based in Coventry is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong metrology background and hands-on experience using portable CMM arms and inspection software. Location: Coventry Key Responsibilities: Carry out dimensional inspection of components using FARO Arm, Hexagon, or Absolute Arm equipment Use PolyWorks software for inspection programming, measurement, and reporting Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections in line with company standards Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions where required Ensure all inspection documentation is completed accurately and maintained Work closely with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standardsCandidate Requirements: Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment Practical experience with FARO Arm / Hexagon / Absolute Arm systems Strong working knowledge of PolyWorks Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and tolerances High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approachDesirable Experience: Background in automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering Familiarity with ISO quality standardsPackage & Benefits: Salary between £32,000 – £36,000 depending on experience Full-time, permanent position Opportunity to work with advanced inspection technology Career progression within a reputable organisationIf this role is of interest, please click apply now to be considered
