Payroll Manager


We are working with a Warwick based organistion who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established finance team and take ownership of a large, complex payroll function within a supportive environment. Reporting to the Foundation Director of Finance, you will lead the payroll function and manage a small team, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing a small payroll team Overseeing payroll for circa 1,000 employees Managing payroll processes including pensions and benefits administration Handling pension remittance, auto-enrolment and compliance requirements Preparing and submitting monthly and annual returns Managing year-end payroll processes Supporting system upgrades and improvements Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous process improvementEssential experience: Solid payroll management experience Experience managing pensions within payroll Ability to lead and support a small teamDesirable: Knowledge of iTrent payroll systemIf you are an experienced payroll professional looking for a leadership role within a well-regarded organisation, we would love to hear from you. 51271RM INDPAYS Portfolio Payroll Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
